A chamber music program that explores and highlights the expressive qualities of the cello—the instrument whose tone most closely resembles the human voice—and the lyrical beauty of the piano.

“On the Wings of Song” moves between Beethoven’s German classicism, Liszt’s romanticism, and de Falla’s folk-inspired melodies.
