The last event of the year hosts Petunia Ollister’s Silent Reading & Book Club.
Just bring a book with you, take a seat wherever you like, and start reading: the first hour is dedicated to reading, the next to sharing and exchanging recommendations and impressions.

I would like to borrow a quote from Virginia Woolf:
‘Sometimes I think that heaven is reading continuously, without end.’

SILENT READING PARTIES
They started in New York about a year ago, quite by chance. Four twenty-somethings guys decided to get together in a Brooklyn apartment, with their phones turned off and lots of books they had never managed to read due to lack of time.
The group read silently for an hour, then always spent some time sharing their thoughts.
The first “official” reading took place on the roof of their Brooklyn apartment, where the young people had invited some of their friends.
Then the project attracted more and more people, expanded, and after only a couple of months involved two hundred people.
The young people then decided to consolidate the format, which is attracting more and more people of all ages in various places around the world.
